Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain safe operational and engineering standards; continuously review specifications and schedules.
  • •Maintain RT safety standards and manage occupational health, safety and environment registers and quality controls for raw materials and products.
  • •Conduct timeous investigations of incidents, ensure adequate remedial actions, and maintain equipment integrity according to safety standards.
  • •Supervise and control designated staff activities and performance, and ensure training, development and succession of subordinate staff.
  • •Optimize plant performance and resource utilization, support process metallurgy and service departments, and ensure equipment integrity through planned maintenance and breakdown attendance.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Chemical / Metallurgy Engineering would be advantageous.
  • •A valid South African Driver’s License (attach with your application).
  • •5 years of production / process / engineering experience.
