FPGA Hardware Engineer

Design and develop FPGA-based control path hardware for Cisco’s high-end routing platforms, including ASR8000 routers. Translate networking system requirements into FPGA functional blocks, collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate systems, and drive releases to manufacturing. Write RTL in Verilog/SystemVerilog, run simulations, resolve timing constraints, and generate programming files while partnering with diagnostics, software, board design, and hardware qualification teams to resolve system-level issues.
