Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and monitor marine civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and quality and health & safety regulations.
  • •Monitor and verify marine construction activities including quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, revetments, seawalls, marine foundations, pontoons, and coastal protection structures.
  • •Witness testing and verify construction materials, including concrete, aggregates, steel reinforcement, and marine structures; maintain QA/QC compliance.
  • •Review contractor inspection requests, maintain inspection records, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports as required.
  • •Identify non-conforming work and ensure timely corrective actions; monitor marine survey activities and environmental protection measures, coordinating with site stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • •Minimum 7-10 years of experience in civil construction inspection.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of experience on marine infrastructure projects.
  • •Experience inspecting ports, harbors, jetties, quay walls, dredging, reclamation, or coastal protection projects.
  • •Knowledge of marine construction methods and inspection procedures, and familiarity with international standards, marine construction specifications, and UAE authority requirements (preferred).
