Key Responsibilities

•Confirm OTC trades on electronic platforms or by scanned paper where required.
•Liaise with trading desk, reconciliation/control group, counterparties, and legal to resolve economic and legal discrepancies on OTC trade confirmations.
•Ensure timely receipt of OTC confirmations and accuracy of transaction agreements and modifications.
•Assist swap confirmation coverage for OTC products (e.g., total return swaps, equity options, credit defaults, convertible bond options, fixed income) and support automation projects.
•Process and manage settlement and periodic resets for OTC products, including swap cash flows (unwinds, quarterly fees/premiums, resets) and review corporate actions/dividends/coupons for correct position and P/L impact.

Key Requirements

•4-6 years of experience in a Financial Services environment, preferably with 1-2 years in derivative affirmation and settlement and 2 years in the current role.
•Experience in hedge funds, investment management, and/or financial services.
•Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting, finance, or a quantitative discipline (master’s degree an advantage).
•Business exposure to equity or credit and complex derivative products such as CDS, IRS, TRS, and other OTC products.
•Proficiency with DTCC Deriv/SERV, SwapsWire, or eConfirm platforms (preferred) and helpful understanding of ISDA guidelines and documents.
