Key Responsibilities

  • •Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
  • •Connect power supply wires and cables between machines and equipment, including diagnosing and replacing damaged or broken wires and cables.
  • •Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electrical components (e.g., relays, switches, motors) and electronic components such as printed circuit boards.
  • •Replace electric motor bearings and rewire motors; test malfunctioning machinery and discuss findings with other maintenance workers.
  • •Program and verify automated machinery operation by using robot controller controls (buttons/keys), teach pendant, and programmable controller to test and confirm repairs.

Key Requirements

  • •Tech Degree (Electrical) from a tech college or university, or 1-2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience.
  • •Able to troubleshoot and repair process and supportive equipment, plus building and grounds equipment.
  • •Must know Lockout/Tag out and Confined Space Entry.
  • •Must have a valid state driver’s license (or ability to obtain one).
  • •Maintain an updated forklift drivers license (renewable every two years).
