Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and review Pre-Feasibility Reports (PFRs), Feasibility Reports (FRs), and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for hydropower and pumped storage projects.
  • •Conduct technical due diligence, site assessments, layout optimization, and engineering studies to evaluate project alternatives.
  • •Develop project cost estimates, implementation schedules, quantity estimates, and engineering documentation.
  • •Coordinate and review inputs from geological, geotechnical, hydrological, hydraulic, topographical, and survey investigations required for project development.
  • •Coordinate approvals by preparing technical documentation for CEA, responding to TEC observations, and liaising with agencies including CWC and MoEF&CC.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
  • •Master's degree in Water Resources, Hydraulics, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related specialization.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • •Experience planning and developing hydropower and pumped storage projects, including feasibility studies and DPR preparation.
  • •Extensive experience obtaining techno-economic concurrence from the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and coordinating with statutory/regulatory agencies.
