Job Summary

Provide technical field services for marine Gas Systems, supporting Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGSC), Smit LNG, and other Inert Gas Systems (IGS). Execute troubleshooting, inspections, condition audits, sensor exchanges, component changes, upgrades, safety checks, and re-commissioning onboard vessels in requested ports. Coordinate with the International Marine Service Desk and Global Technical Specialists, document work, manage travel primarily within Asia, and coach customers and crew on product usage. Based in Batam.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute international and local field service jobs within the Gas Systems portfolio via the International Marine Service Desk.
•Troubleshoot and solve customer issues onboard vessels in requested ports, and sail with the vessel if needed.
•Perform component changes, equipment/control-system upgrades, re-commissioning, safety checks, and adjustments; advise and coach customers and crew.
•Execute system inspections, condition audits, and sensor exchange; consult Global Technical Specialists when needed.
•Travel to execute marine service jobs and participate in trainings/meetings, primarily in Asia; report and document work per guidelines.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or similar (marine engineering is a plus).
•Electrical background.
•Minimum 5 years of field service experience on board vessels.
•Minimum 2 years independent EGCS and/or IGS experience.
•Fluent English (verbal and written) with good reporting skills using MS Word and Excel.
