Key Responsibilities

  • •Process utility Information Retrieval (IR) requests from CDOT Office of Underground Coordination (OUC) for CDWM Water Main Replacement Program.
  • •Review and correct OUC utilities in topographic survey basemap using MicroStation V8i per CDWM Utility and CADD standards manual.
  • •Prepare basic GIS maps for IR process using ArcMap and prepare 80-acre sheets for WM projects.
  • •Coordinate basemap revision process with Water Main Design and CADD team, and provide technical recommendations to topographic survey consultants.
  • •Track project status in P6 and other tracking software, and support management of topographic survey consulting firms.

Key Requirements

  • •HS + 4 YORE (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education).
  • •3+ years experience in CADD/Civil/Water Resources/Planning disciplines.
  • •Experience using MicroStation, CADD MicroStation 3D and AutoCAD software.
  • •Survey and/or engineering experience with utility infrastructure work.
  • •Ability to process and correct topographic survey basemap data using CADD/GIS tools and standards.
