  • •Provide direction and techniques on customer issues, including engaging design engineering and communicating findings for HW and SW field issues.
  • •Coordinate failure analysis case review meetings with Cisco teams and suppliers, and ensure EMS partners deliver timely and accurate results.
  • •Perform defect-detection/containment analysis and work with multi-functional product, technical, and customer support teams to replicate and isolate root causes.
  • •Organize, plan, track, and close out design, component, and manufacturing issues; evolve product debug documentation and drive corrective/preventive actions while improving test strategies and coverage.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 8+ years of related experience.
  • •Experience with high-speed network interfaces and hands-on board design expertise, including familiarity with board design tools such as Cadence Allegro (or similar).
  • •Experience in hardware design, schematics generation, and design validation for service provider routing products.
  • •Experience with sophisticated high-speed board design and board bring-up.
  • •Knowledge of Cisco products.
