Key Responsibilities

•Ensure all site works are carried out safely and in accordance with company policy and safety rules, acting as the nominated safety lead when required.
•Perform cablehead changes, cablehead and substation fuse replacement, fault location, generator deployment/connection, and jointing work with appropriate authorisation.
•Issue/receipt safety documents and assist other trade groups as needed to support operations.
•Plan and carry out work safely, either individually or as part of a team, with clear communication and proactive attitude.
•Demonstrate attention to detail and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting 24/7/365 essential services to local communities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 34,040 - 42,550 annually

Key Requirements

•City and guilds or NVQ equivalent, and / or equivalent experience (minimum)
•Employed currently or historically as an electrical cable jointer at one or more of LV, HV, EHV (minimum)
•Driving licence (minimum)
•Experience and understanding of jointing, testing, and fault finding
•Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation; excellent communication skills on-site
