Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support for mechanical scope on water projects
  • •Produce plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selections including specifications and P&IDs
  • •Liaise and collaborate with water, civil, electrical and process engineers across projects
  • •Visit sites to carry out surveys and liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers
  • •Lead design reviews and act as Mechanical Lead on projects to deliver on programme and budget

Key Requirements

  • •A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • •Be a Chartered Engineer with a relevant institution (e.g., IMechE)
  • •Proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications and calculations
  • •Hands-on experience delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater engineering projects
  • •Experience delivering projects within a water infrastructure context
