Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead manufacturing readiness and industrialization for new or significantly changed products, including DFM input, process design, equipment/tooling requirements, validation, ramp-up, and production release.
  • •Identify, evaluate, justify, pilot, and deploy advanced manufacturing technologies including automation, robotics, vision, sensing, digital tools, and emerging equipment.
  • •Lead complex capital projects from business case and supplier selection through installation, commissioning, validation, and sustained results.
  • •Develop facility strategy, capacity models, and manufacturing flow through layouts, equipment moves, line relocations, and expansions to improve safety, flow, and scalability.
  • •Apply lean and process excellence methods (e.g., mistake-proofing, standard work, PFMEA, structured problem solving) to improve productivity, quality, cost, and flow.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Typically 7-10 years of progressive manufacturing engineering/industrialization/automation/capital-project experience in a production environment.
  • •Own end-to-end design, implementation, and validation of manufacturing processes and capital equipment from concept/business case through sustained production results.
  • •Strong knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, DFM, lean methods, PFMEA/process controls, process capability, capacity analysis, takt/cycle time, line balancing, and structured problem solving.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD/layout tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or equivalent) and ability to read technical drawings/equipment layouts.
