Job Summary

Assist crews when paving roads and highways by distributing asphalt with rakes and shovels, matching and finishing asphalt joints, and leveling/adjusting surfaces before compaction. Move and deliver tools, equipment, and materials across the job site, load/unload work trucks, and support maintenance and cleaning. Follow OSHA regulations and safety procedures at all times, maintain attendance, and be available to work across multiple local construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

•Distribute asphaltic material using raking and shoveling.
•Match and finish asphalt joints evenly, and level/adjust surfaces before compaction.
•Spread asphalt to proper grade and finish before compaction.
•Move and deliver tools, equipment, and materials throughout the job site, including loading/unloading work trucks and cleaning tools/equipment.
•Assist with other duties such as operating equipment and supporting maintenance/cleaning of equipment.

Key Requirements

•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. regularly.
