Key Responsibilities

  • •Own components of Plaid’s 3–5 year long-range plan, including model design, scenario analysis, and translating strategy into financial targets.
  • •Partner on end-to-end PMO for the quarterly Board process, including framework development, narrative ownership, materials build, and Q&A management.
  • •Build and operationalize SBC and equity modeling (including HC growth, grant cadence, forfeitures, and refresh cycles) and connect it to GAAP profitability, EBITDA, and margin analysis.
  • •Lead consolidated cash flow forecasting and contingency/management reserve strategy, and run total-company forecast reviews against targets.
  • •Drive external benchmarking against peer companies and support capital raise activities with Corp Dev, including pro-forma reporting, forecasting, and capital structure analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or management consulting, ideally with tech, SaaS, or fintech exposure.
  • •Advanced financial modeling skills, including long-range, scenario/sensitivity, or valuation modeling.
  • •Strong command of consolidated financial statements, SaaS/fintech operating metrics, and external benchmarking.
  • •Excellent communication and storytelling skills for executive- and Board-level narratives.
  • •Ability to partner cross-functionally and distill complex, ambiguous topics into structured frameworks and clear recommendations.
