Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver supply chain and commercial assurance commissions, supporting senior colleagues with assurance reviews and client relationship development.
  • •Undertake assurance reviews across major construction projects, assessing supply chain systems, processes, and contract administration for compliance and control effectiveness.
  • •Analyze complex construction contracts and commercial matters (variations, claims, compensation events, forecasting, risk allocation) and contribute to practical recommendations.
  • •Perform testing of data and information using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to identify risks, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • •Produce succinct written findings reports and review outputs intended for client circulation, providing feedback to colleagues as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
  • •Experience or understanding of assurance/audit in construction, commercial or accountancy settings.
  • •Technical knowledge of construction procurement routes and cost areas (e.g., target price setting; pain/gain calculations).
  • •Contract management experience with NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred and ability to assess accuracy and entitlement to cost.
  • •Experience analyzing large datasets and communicating findings in written reports, with professional scepticism and stakeholder presentation skills.
