Job Summary

Lead end-to-end product development for enterprise software, owning the SDLC from scoping through deployment. Manage and scale an R&D engineering team through hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and Agile/Scrum execution. Partner with Product Managers, DevOps, and stakeholders to manage dependencies and releases, ensure production stability, reduce technical debt, and enforce quality through testing and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and grow an engineering team by setting goals, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback/coaching, and supporting career progression and retention.
•Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) from scoping to deployment, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.
•Partner with Product Managers, DevOps, and stakeholders to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and define release scopes.
•Drive Agile/Scrum execution (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives) and optimize team velocity and processes.
•Ensure production stability by managing release rollbacks/hotfixes, performing post-mortems, and enforcing quality via testing and documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 3,525,000 - 5,875,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum 10 years of software development experience, including at least 4 years managing R&D teams in enterprise software.
•Proven product lifecycle management experience from concept to delivery with success bringing innovative products to market.
•Experience leading strategic hiring, mentoring, and developing top talent while fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
•Deep expertise in software engineering, architecture, and design with knowledge of modern development methodologies and SaaS/cloud delivery models.
•B.E/BTech and an advanced degree (e.g., MA, M.Sc., or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or related fields.
