Job Summary

Join Harvey as an AI Automation Engineer within the Customer Education team to design and build production-grade AI agents, automation pipelines, and learning platforms that scale Harvey Academy and the help center. You’ll own the learning tech stack (Skilljar, Sanity CMS), integrate APIs, and partner with Product and User Operations to drive AI-driven education solutions for legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain AI agents using LLM APIs to automate content creation, review, and publishing workflows across Harvey Academy and the help center.
•Own and optimize the learning technology stack, including Skilljar and Sanity CMS integrations, ensuring reliability, extensibility, and seamless content publishing.
•Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in content operations by building automation where it doesn't exist yet.
•Partner with Product, User Operations, and GTM to identify opportunities for systems improvement and AI-driven innovation across the customer education ecosystem.
•Use technical expertise to explore implementation of interactive learning components based on instructional design direction from team members.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 123,600 - 185,400 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in software engineering or automation engineering with API integration design experience
•Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React or similar technologies
•Hands-on experience building AI agents and LLM-powered workflows with API integrations (Anthropic Claude or OpenAI)
•Experience supporting production systems end-to-end, including LMS/CMS tools or similar content delivery infrastructure
•Strong autonomous work style and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, with clear communication to non-technical teammates
