Key Responsibilities

•Provide dedicated support, guidance and education to physicians on clinical coding to ensure quality documentation and mitigate financial risk for the company
•Evaluate and improve the quality of clinical documentation and coding to ensure financial efficiencies for the company
•Provide ongoing education and assistance to physicians on clinical coding to improve denial rates and optimise revenue
•Collaborate with physicians and other role players to ensure accurate coding and documentation
•Assist in identifying training needs and delivering targeted education to improve revenue integrity

Key Requirements

•A relevant Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
•CDI qualification will be an advantage
•Certification as a coder
•At least 2 years’ experience in OPD billing, Coding and clinical documentation improvement in a healthcare setting in Abu Dhabi
•Strong knowledge of billing and coding regulations; computer literacy; verbal and written English; medical records
