Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, implement, and maintain plant engineering functions (industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, processes, and tools) to support manufacturing/ceramic finishing operations and departmental objectives.
  • •Interface with manufacturing and product engineering to drive process improvements and controls, machine capacity/capability studies, equipment selection/qualification, and adherence to quality standards.
  • •Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment issues, write engineering documentation for changes, and support performance measurement systems to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • •Design, procure, fabricate, and implement fixtures and manufacturing equipment; plan and lead multiple simultaneous projects; conduct process design reviews and DFMEA/PFMEA sessions to identify risks and response plans.
  • •Drive continuous improvement and safety practices, support production capability of assigned components, maintain Eaton Business System elements, and develop capital appropriation requests; pursue measurable cost reductions via scrap analysis, design modifications, and improved labor utilization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Engineering-related field from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 3 years of Product or Manufacturing experience.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience with 2D/3D CAD and M365.
  • •Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
  • •Preferred: controls engineering experience (Rockwell), additive manufacturing experience (3D printing), and SAP business system experience.
