Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Databricks Workflows.
  • •Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) to ingest incremental inserts/updates/deletes into the lakehouse.
  • •Apply lakehouse and historical data architecture using Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and Delta Lake SCD patterns for historical truth tables.
  • •Administer data governance and security by managing schemas/catalogs and access permissions with Unity Catalog.
  • •Optimize SQL performance and maintain data quality using validation, logging, and alerting with native Databricks tools; also implement Git-based CI/CD best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Current and active Secret security clearance.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, Math, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • •8+ years’ experience (Bachelor’s) or 6+ years (Master’s).
  • •Strong relational database fundamentals including indexing, transaction management, and query optimization, with hands-on SQL experience.
  • •Experience in Agile/SAFe environments and knowledge of database security controls and encryption.
