  • •Safely load, secure, transport, and offload CarMax vehicles between stores, auctions, vendors, and logistics hubs.
  • •Ensure timely and accurate vehicle delivery to maintain inventory flow and customer satisfaction.
  • •Operate equipment focusing on safety, efficiency, and cleanliness while maintaining a well-kept truck and trailer.
  • •Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and CarMax standards.
  • •Maintain accurate and compliant DOT logs and documentation while following all company and federal safety regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state.
  • •2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience (military heavy/medium tactical experience considered).
  • •Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years and no preventable safety incidents in the past 2 years (per CarMax Driver Safety Evaluation).
  • •Ability to meet DOT and FMCSA qualification requirements and maintain accurate, compliant DOT logs and documentation.
  • •Ability to lift heavy objects and operate winches during loading, with proficiency operating a 10-speed transmission and willingness to work outdoors in varied weather.
