Job Summary

Support the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts NLS project by operating and improving a large-scale logging pipeline using Cribl. You’ll develop ingestion and enrichment workflows, build Cribl pipelines and packs, and migrate Splunk forwarder inputs. Own Cribl and Splunk upgrades, distributed infrastructure tuning, monitoring/alerting, and incident troubleshooting. Automate deployments and configuration management with Ansible and GitOps CI/CD, while implementing security and recovery practices.

•Develop best practices and tools for data ingestion, indexing, and management to capture pertinent data.
•Plan and perform Cribl upgrades and manage Cribl distributed infrastructure for scalability and efficient routing.
•Monitor Cribl performance and develop pipelines for new data sources with filtering, sampling, and enrichment.
•Migrate Splunk forwarder-based inputs to Cribl and maintain Cribl packs and standardized configurations.
•Automate deployments using Ansible and GitOps CI/CD; integrate security/compliance controls and support troubleshooting, break/fix, and disaster recovery testing.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 105,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years (or commensurate experience).
•3 years of experience with the Cribl data engine.
•Understanding of data from a security perspective.
•Must be able to attain and maintain AOUSC Public Trust.
•Preferred: Cribl Admin Cert, Splunk environment experience, and cloud experience.
