Job Summary

Analyze, structure, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex loans for mid-market clients, ensuring deals are approved and processed in line with the bank’s lending policies and applicable state and federal regulations. Partner with a Vice President Commercial Banker and Relationship Managers to assess credit needs, gather and analyze financing information, present requests for approval, and help resolve loan processing and servicing issues while reinforcing superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze, structure, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex loans in compliance with lending policies and procedures.
•Work with the Vice President, Commercial Banker to ensure credit risks are monitored and identified.
•Assist in attaining bank, region, and branch goals through underwriting and closing desirable credits.
•Interface with clients in-person, over the phone, and via email to assess credit needs and determine analysis items.
•Coordinate processing of approved loans, ensure documentation is obtained, and help resolve issues related to loan processing and servicing.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or a similar field.

•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations and requirements.
•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit, loan structuring, and pricing dynamics; credit analyst training completed.
