Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the review and approval of data center and cloud revenue agreements, ensuring appropriate recognition in accordance with ASC 606, Atlassian Revenue Policy, and other applicable standards
  • •Provide support and guidance to Sales, Legal, and Order Management teams on deal structure and contractual terms for revenue compliance and optimization
  • •Review non-standard terms, ensuring accurate technical accounting assessment and computation of accounting adjustments needed
  • •Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding revenue accounting matters, providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • •Continuously identify and implement improvements to revenue accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of revenue experience with 3 years minimally in a technical accounting role, ideally with experience with Public Companies
  • •Strong knowledge of US GAAP and primarily revenue recognition standards (ASC 606)
  • •Proficient in using large scale ERP systems (Oracle Fusion a plus), and Revpro
  • •Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans
  • •Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels at the company
