Job Summary

Manage enterprise-wide governance of the global product specification process across the PLM/specification ecosystem to ensure standardization, data integrity, and end-to-end lifecycle control. Establish scalable, auditable specification change control and risk-based conditional approvals, lead a team of specification/data governance professionals, and drive adoption of new data requirements. Partner with IT/Digital, R&D, Regulatory, and Quality to translate business needs into clear specification standards and measurable performance KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage global specification governance for standardization, data integrity, and end-to-end lifecycle control within the PLM/specification ecosystem.
•Define and maintain auditable global specification standards, processes, naming conventions, business rules, and attribute ownership models to drive data quality.
•Lead specification change control, including conditional approval protocols for exceptions, risk assessment, and escalation with complete documentation.
•Partner with IT/Digital, R&D, Regulatory, and Quality to translate business and regulatory needs into specification requirements and drive implementation across regions.
•Lead and develop specification/data governance professionals and establish KPI-based reporting to drive corrective and preventive actions.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field such as science, engineering, quality, regulatory, data/technology, or supply chain.
•5+ years of leadership experience managing specifications, quality systems, regulatory/quality data, or related governance at a regional or global level.
•Strong understanding of data governance fundamentals including standards, stewardship/ownership, controls, quality, and lifecycle management.
•Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functionally across geographies with senior stakeholder engagement.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex requirements and drive adoption in a matrixed environment.
