Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily reconciliations for ETD and OTC derivatives clearing services, investigating discrepancies and escalating market risk issues through to resolution.
  • •Manage/supervise post-trade support activities, including intersystem break investigation and reconciliation discrepancies.
  • •Provide support to minimise risks such as stock/intersystem breaks, and recommend ideas to address control deficiencies.
  • •Assist supervisors in executing control gap solutions and support operation leads/counterparties to resolve break discrepancies.
  • •Monitor and coordinate changes impacting the process (e.g., UAT testing, platform upgrades, upstream system changes) and act as a primary escalation point for reconciliation issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in Exchange Traded Derivatives and cleared OTC derivatives operations is required.
  • •Strong understanding of operational processing in clearing broker environments for listed and OTC cleared products.
  • •Sound understanding of basic Operations Accounting principles.
  • •Ability to implement initiatives and work in a team with attention to detail and a hands-on approach to process improvement.
  • •Awareness of operations risk and control, exception management, and the ability to follow formal escalation frameworks.
