Job Summary

Drive and support the strategic agenda for a maritime and shipping cluster by partnering with the Director of Strategy. Develop the long-term strategic roadmap, run market research and scenario planning, and build business cases for investments and partnerships. Own performance management through KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards, and lead strategic projects including M&A due diligence, valuation, integration planning, and cross-functional transformation delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Director of Strategy in formulating the cluster’s long-term strategic roadmap.
•Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and scenario planning to identify opportunities and risks and develop business cases for strategic investments and partnerships.
•Design and implement KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards to monitor cluster performance and provide regular performance insights to senior leadership.
•Lead and manage strategic projects (scope, budget, and timelines) and support due diligence, valuation, and integration planning for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
•Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and represent the cluster in project-related discussions with regulators, partners, and investors.

Key Requirements

•Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration) and relevant professional certifications or deep experience in a strategy role.
•Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic plans in the Maritime or related industry.
•Knowledge of market intelligence methodologies and tools for market analysis and competitive benchmarking.
•Understanding of M&A processes, including financial analysis, due diligence, and integration strategies.
•Expertise in managing projects and programs with multiple stakeholders, with exceptional verbal and written communication and leadership ability.
