Job Summary

Join MongoDB’s Platform Engineering SRE team to design and operate large-scale, multi-cloud Kubernetes infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You’ll work on Argo Workflows/ArgoCD, contribute to a fast, reliable deployment experience, and participate in an on-call rotation. East Coast hours, remote-friendly, with a focus on automating toil and improving system ownership across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to developing a world-class continuous deployment experience to ship MongoDB products rapidly and reliably.
•Own the onboarding flow for new products/services and ensure a consistent service-onboarding experience across teams.
•Collaborate with Platform Engineering to provide a cohesive deployment platform and onboarding experience.
•Provide internal support for deployment systems, including answering questions and addressing issues.
•Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to resolve deployment infrastructure issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 127,000 - 249,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in software development and operating distributed systems
•Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language
•Experience building and operating large-scale CI/CD pipelines
•Experience using and extending Kubernetes-based containerization technologies
•Expertise in cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
