Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair complex electrical, brake/cooling, engine electronics, diesel steering, transmissions, clutches, and related systems.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles; use instruments and sound judgment to identify malfunctions and determine appropriate actions.
  • •Manage parts inventory and maintain the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Complete DOT forms and repair documentation; upload photos and findings to Repair Orders using a company-issued iOS device and proprietary TRAIT application.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as additional degree/certification or 5 years experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply the required set of hand tools to perform job duties.
  • •Be able to successfully complete and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a current DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity).
  • •Have a current valid DOT medical card and a valid driver’s license; must be at least 21 years old.
