Job Summary

Support patent-related work by reviewing invention disclosures, counseling inventors, and performing patentability evaluations to scope inventive subject matter aligned with business strategy. Key Responsibilities

•Review invention disclosures, counsel inventors, and conduct patentability evaluation and scoping aligned with business strategy.
•Prepare claims and full patent applications and variations in line with business strategy.
•Handle patent prosecution, including responses to ISR/WO and office actions across jurisdictions, with prior art review and contextual comparisons.
•Perform competitive patent and non-patent literature analysis, including right-to-market and landscape research.
•Collaborate with the in-house IP team and R&D stakeholders to achieve quality standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering/Technology discipline, or PhD/Master’s in related Science from a reputed institute/university.
•At least 8 years of substantive experience in patent prosecution, patent application preparation, and patent analytics from a reputed law firm/IP consulting firm/in-house department.
•Strong experience counseling inventors to identify inventions and scope the inventive subject matter.
•Knowledge of substantive and procedural patent laws in major jurisdictions.
•Excellent command of English for clear, concise written and oral communication.
