Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage with clients to develop trusted advisor relationships and grow a network of contacts.
  • •Lead the delivery of high-quality technical deliverables to clients, acting as technical reviewer and approver.
  • •Mentor junior colleagues and oversee small project teams to build capability.
  • •Manage and direct projects, balancing programme, budget and quality requirements.
  • •Contribute to and lead opportunities to secure new projects and extensions with existing clients.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in a relevant environmental, geographical, science or engineering discipline is essential
  • •Chartered status with C.WEM, CEnv, CSci or CEng is desired for Principal or evidence of working towards chartership for Senior
  • •Experience in flood risk management with local authorities or related public/private sector experience
  • •Understanding of budgets and ability to lead delivery of projects or technical outputs related to flood risk management or sustainable drainage
  • •Knowledge of the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, Land Drainage Act and Planning Practice Guidance: Flood Risk and Coastal Change and its UK application
