Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop scalable, reliable, low-latency infrastructure for processing millions of events.
  • •Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to design and implement feature topologies (graphs, support vectors, time-series data).
  • •Centralize risk logic across Wise and expand self-service capabilities to improve platform adoption.
  • •Ensure risk signals and governed features are robust, consistent, and ready for real-world use.
  • •Support scaling of financial crime prevention systems and understanding customer payment issues to solve technical challenges.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: HUF 1,300,000 - 1,700,000 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of Java experience (Java 11+) with fluency in Java 21+.
  • •Familiarity with Python (or willingness to learn on the job).
  • •Experience with batch or stream processing (preferably Apache Spark and Flink/Kafka streams).
  • •Familiarity with SQL and no-SQL (document) databases.
  • •Experience with distributed systems across multiple microservices (including Kafka) and hands-on system integration patterns.
