Key Responsibilities

  • •Support planning and design of civil engineering infrastructure including roads & transport, stormwater, services and utilities, and earthworks.
  • •Deliver work packages by completing detailed design, engineering calculations, and interpreting site and project data.
  • •Contribute to stormwater design (pit and pipe layouts, hydraulic checks, minor drainage) and bulk earthworks support (grading plans, levels coordination, cut/fill inputs).
  • •Develop basic water and wastewater infrastructure (reticulation layouts, tie-ins, and design checks).
  • •Support client activities such as preparation of tenders and proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve quality design and delivery outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a Civil Engineer on civil, site, and infrastructure design with Defence clearance eligibility requirements and Australian citizenship.
  • •Ideally 5-10 years’ post-graduate experience in civil/site infrastructure design.
  • •Exposure to applying Austroads, Australian Standards, and local council/authority requirements.
  • •Technical background in general civil design across roads, water, wastewater, and drainage.
  • •Excellent communication with high-quality technical and non-technical report writing; detail-oriented and quality-focused.
