Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop account strategies with Sales and partners to grow customer usage of the platform.
  • •Establish Databricks Lakehouse as the standard customer data architecture through technical account planning.
  • •Build and present reference architectures and demo applications to support new users and use cases.
  • •Consult on big data architectures, data engineering pipelines, and data science/ML projects; validate integrations with cloud services and third-party applications.
  • •Promote Databricks-inspired open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, Koalas) across developer communities via meetups, conferences, and webinars.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting with expertise in at least one of big data engineering, data warehousing/ETL, data science/ML, or data applications.
  • •Experience translating customer business needs into technology solutions and establishing buy-in with stakeholders.
  • •Design, architect, and present data systems, and manage delivery of production solutions based on those architectures.
  • •Fluency in SQL and database technology.
  • •Debug and development experience in at least one of Python, Scala, Java, or R (desired: public cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP).
