Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect, oil, and grease moving parts of mechanical equipment such as bearings, drive chains, gears, and pulleys.
  • •Fill lubrication containers and lubrication system reservoirs with specified lubricants and regulate oil flow using valves.
  • •Force grease into bearings and lubricate friction surfaces using grease guns and manual packing methods.
  • •Document inspections for predictive maintenance scheduling and report machinery defects or malfunctions to a supervisor.
  • •Clean machines, sweep floors, transport stock, and support safety and housekeeping activities.
