Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor employment and business development commitments, associated metrics, and delivery risks, taking action when progress is off track.
  • •Develop and support drafting of employment, skills, and business development agreement commitments with Traditional Owners.
  • •Partner with Traditional Owner groups and Prescribed Bodies Corporate to identify economic development opportunities and connect subject matter expertise.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional delivery across internal teams (e.g., People, Procurement, Commercial, Capability Development, Renewables, Environment, Land Access, and operational teams).
  • •Serve as a central point of contact for Rio Tinto teams interfacing with Traditional Owner groups, including supporting specialist contractual arrangements and responding to escalations and grievances.

  • •Working knowledge of Native Title, agreement-making frameworks, and delivery of commitments with Traditional Owner groups.
