Job Summary

Lead and develop a team of quality assurance engineers for manufacturing and AIT (assembly, integration and test) activities for space projects at the Getafe plant. Serve as the QA focal point across production/AIT teams, harmonize QA practices, drive preventive quality mindset, and oversee quality documentation, inspections in cleanroom, non-conformities management, KPIs, and QA budget/resource planning. Coordinate with other engineering and production departments throughout AIT phases.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, motivate, and develop the QA team; harmonize QA activities and practices.
•Act as the QA focal point for other areas and for project(s) throughout assembly, integration, and AIT phases.
•Promote a preventive quality mindset and ensure implementation of core quality processes (e.g., non-conformities management, root cause analysis, NRB, quality authorization, operational surveillance).
•Provide QA documentation (Quality Assurance Plan, Quality Control Plan, inspection reports) and coordinate inspection services in the cleanroom.
•Coordinate QA execution for AIT phases, including incoming/outgoing inspections, manage non-conformities/deviations, organize Integration Readiness Reviews, and consolidate the QA budget/resources.

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree (or equivalent, e.g., Physics, Chemistry).
•At least 5 years of experience in the quality domain for space sector projects.
•Experience coordinating people.
•Fluent in Spanish (at least C1) and English.
•Good communication and stakeholder management skills; objectives-oriented.
