Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute territory and account strategies aligned with growth objectives for assigned state government accounts.
  • •Generate, qualify, and advance new business opportunities across state agencies, including Medicaid, public health, HIEs, EMS, and behavioral health.
  • •Establish and maintain trusted relationships with governors’ offices, cabinet agencies, CIOs, Medicaid directors, procurement officials, legislators, and other executive stakeholders.
  • •Lead account planning and executive engagement strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams to position InterSystems for long-term success.
  • •Manage opportunity and forecasting activities in global records/sales management tools while staying informed of legislative, regulatory, funding, and technology trends.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic business development, or complex solution selling, preferably in public sector or healthcare technology.
  • •Proven success developing and advancing business opportunities within state government accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • •Strong relationship-building ability with senior government officials, agency executives, and C-suite decision-makers.
  • •Deep understanding of state government operations, procurement, budgeting/funding cycles, and the legislative/policy environment (healthcare/Medicaid/public health preferred).
