Lead end-to-end energy and power strategy for a portfolio of data center assets across EMEA. Own utility and grid due diligence, energy supply lifecycle planning, and load growth alignment with constraints. Develop renewable and carbon-aligned sourcing, monitor market/policy/regulatory changes, and optimize energy costs and demand response with financial modeling.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead utility, grid, and external power due diligence for site selection, acquisition, and expansion across EMEA markets.
•Manage data center energy supply planning across the full lifecycle (reservation through operational stability) and oversee load growth aligned with utility constraints.
•Lead electricity procurement strategy and structure long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), negotiating with utilities, IPPs, and renewable providers.
•Develop and execute renewable energy sourcing and carbon/ESG strategies, including identifying and structuring renewable opportunities.
•Conduct ongoing EMEA market, policy, and regulatory analysis and drive lifecycle energy cost optimization with demand response opportunities and financial modeling.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in utility, infrastructure, energy, or hyperscale data center development with strong exposure to power and utility systems.
•3+ years managing utility agreements, energy procurement, or large-scale power infrastructure projects.
•Experience working within EMEA energy markets, including grid capacity constraints, interconnection processes, and regulated vs deregulated electricity structures.
•Experience supporting or leading data center power strategy across greenfield/brownfield development and utility-scale load interconnection.
•Strong knowledge of energy procurement commercial/technical aspects, including PPAs, tariffs, and hedging structures.
