Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment; develop the team’s ability to excel and adapt to changing realities.
  • •Develop, maintain and deepen relationships with the public sector in Japan, engaging government stakeholders to maximize impact for Forum initiatives and events.
  • •Collaborate with Forum colleagues to co-develop and manage public-private partnerships with national, prefectural and municipal governments in Japan.
  • •Develop and deliver national and sub-national gatherings including programme development, leader participation, government coordination and budget management to engage stakeholders on key regional issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in political science, economics, international relations or related field
  • •At least 15 years of experience working with or alongside Japan’s public sector (national, prefectural and municipal)
  • •Demonstrated leadership and track record in public policy or geopolitics with global affairs interest
  • •Experience building/public-private partnerships
  • •Excellent verbal and written Japanese (native level) and English; strong organizational, interpersonal and networking skills
