Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate TRS equipment such as power tongs, elevators, slips, spiders, torque-turn systems, and hydraulic power units.
  • •Assist with rig-up and rig-down of TRS equipment, including stabbing boards, power units, and tubular handling tools.
  • •Communicate with drill floor operators, clients, and subcontracted personnel to coordinate safe operations.
  • •Perform basic troubleshooting, inspections, and minor maintenance of TRS equipment before, during, and after operations.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety requirements, attend rig safety meetings, report hazards, and complete job documentation and activity reports.

Key Requirements

  • •General knowledge of the oil and gas industry with prior TRS or drilling-related field experience (preferred).
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
  • •Ability to work and communicate effectively with rig crews, supervisors, and clients in high-pressure environments.
  • •A two-year technical degree (preferred) or equivalent technical training and field experience.
