Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain a learning culture among nurses in their specialist field.
  • •Assess and reassess patients, collect pertinent health data, and implement and monitor medical plans and treatment.
  • •Determine nursing diagnoses, define expected outcomes, and create/evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team.
  • •Support patient care by educating patients and the public about health conditions and providing advice and emotional support.
  • •Support and lead audit and data collection for KPIs and benchmarking; assist the nurse educator with training programs and training needs analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Be an expert registered nurse with advanced education, training, or certification in the specialized dermatology area of practice.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
  • •Hold an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority.
  • •Have completed a post-graduate specialist qualification (diploma, degree, or masters) in the specialty and manage professional re-licensure.
  • •Have previous experience within the specialist field and complete the relevant competencies in that specialty.
