Join the Core Platforms & Services Cybersecurity team to protect Motorola Solutions’ cloud public safety SaaS platform. You’ll manage cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and GCP, deploy protections like CNAPP, WAF, and firewalls, and build automation for verification, inventory, and alerting. Support compliance assessments (NIST, OWASP, GDPR, ISO, SOC 2), collaborate on detection rules, and assist incident response in a modern cloud/container environment.

•Monitor and assess the security posture of cloud infrastructure and deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
•Deploy and maintain security capabilities such as CNAPP, vulnerability detection, WAF, and firewalls.
•Develop tools to automate self-verification of security functions and support automated inventory and security alerting.
•Support compliance assessments across industry standards including NIST 800-53, OWASP, GDPR, ISO, and SOC 2.
•Collaborate on detection rules and assist with incident response, occasionally serving as an Incident Coordinator.

Key Requirements

•3 years of professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or security engineering within virtualized systems.

•Understanding of cybersecurity and compliance concepts and framework adherence (e.g., NIST, ISO, FedRAMP).
•Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes.
•Ability to develop code and automation scripts in Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, Bash, or Azure CLI, plus knowledge of CI/CD using Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
