Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for real estate transactions including acquisitions, leasing, property management agreements, financing, and related documents (amendments, assignments, SNDAs, estoppels, NDAs, license agreements).
  • •Manage outside counsel to produce high-quality documents using an optimized cost structure.
  • •Partner with Real Estate and Finance teams to ensure deal terms capture business needs and proactively manage legal and operational risks.
  • •Lead legal due diligence and coordinate/support broader due diligence efforts on new investments.
  • •Ensure deals are structured for compliance with local land use and zoning; arrange licensing and regulatory approvals where necessary; counsel teams on key agreement terms and address interpretation/risk issues.

Key Requirements

  • •2-5 years of experience primarily as a transactional real estate counsel (some in-house experience a plus).
