Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day materials management activities, including scheduling, supply ordering, and mentoring/training direct reports.
  • •Lead multi-level operations across multiple shift patterns to support fulfillment, distribution, and storage center targets.
  • •Develop strategy and business metrics/goals to guide the organization, and drive continuous improvements to maintain distribution center rates year-over-year.
  • •Ensure safety and quality performance, aiming for zero OSHA recordables annually and meeting AS9100 and customer flow-down requirements.
  • •Manage inventory performance end-to-end (receiving, acceptance, storage, issuance), including inventory accuracy, routine counting/audit requirements, FIFO rotation, shelf-life monitoring, and environmental controls.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience (with an advanced degree) or 5+ years (with a bachelor’s degree) in material/production planning, purchasing, distribution, operations, or supply chain management.
  • •Experience in one or more of: material cost control and/or master production scheduling.
  • •APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) desired.
  • •Experience in an aerospace, aviation, or automotive manufacturing environment.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
