Key Responsibilities

  • •Organize and maintain vehicle placement within the assigned zone or move area to lot operations standards.
  • •Use supervisor and lot-ops dashboards to make daily vehicle move decisions for the assigned zone.
  • •Continuously improve safety and efficient movement of vehicles in and out of the zone.
  • •Move and stage vehicles safely, segment them into proper work destinations, and reduce multiple drop-off points.
  • •Coordinate with crew leaders/managers and engage service/towing teams for inoperable vehicles; label vehicles with sale and routing labels.
  • •Set an example by championing Cox/Manheim values, following policies for employee/customer conduct, and performing other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or 5 years’ experience; or an equivalent combination with education/certification beyond HS/GED).
  • •Valid driver’s license; ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • •Basic mechanical knowledge to identify issues (e.g., flat tires, low gas, jump-starting vehicles).
  • •Safe driving and ability to follow safety/health procedures in an outdoor, moderate-noise environment.
  • •Physical ability to stand/walk for long periods, walk long distances, and lift 1–15 pounds.
