Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a liaison between injured team members, plant management, medical providers, and corporate workers’ compensation to resolve medical and administrative needs.
  • •Develop individualized medical case management plans and coordinate care with local medical providers.
  • •Support injured team members through recovery and return to permanent placement or case settlement.
  • •Initiate the permanent placement process when permanent medical restrictions are assigned and ensure modified restricted duty requirements are followed.
  • •Provide occasional telephonic case management and travel for case management (as needed).

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program or certification in an accredited vocational rehabilitation field.
  • •CCMC-CCM or ABOHN-CM certification required within 36 months of hire.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Acute Care, Emergency Care, Critical Care, Utilization Review, Orthopedics, Occupational Health, or related areas.
  • •Case Management experience highly preferred; knowledge of state workers’ compensation regulations preferred.
  • •Basic computer proficiency and strong verbal/written communication skills with interpersonal ability across all levels.
