Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a commercial motor vehicle using safe driving practices to transport live poultry or poultry feed in a safe and secure manner.
  • •Comply with DOT safety rules and regulations, and all company, local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
  • •Perform and document pre-trip inspections (tires, oil, fuel, lights, brakes, hoses, etc.).
  • •Assist with loading and unloading trailers as necessary, and ensure secure loads before movement.
  • •Maintain proper documentation (equipment, time, trips, weight, etc.), clean and wash the truck, and report maintenance issues to a supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 21 years of age.
  • •Valid Class A CDL with 1 year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
  • •Knowledge of Department of Transportation, State and Federal laws.
  • •Ability to read and write legibly.
  • •Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate, with sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
