Serve as an individual-contributor engineering leader who drives adoption of modern technologies across Capital One’s Card Tech+ organization. You’ll shape technology roadmaps and unify implementation across domains, acting as a trusted advisor for a specific platform or capability. In addition to deep technical expertise in software, enterprise architecture, and design patterns, you’ll mentor and evangelize engineering best practices—directly influencing next-generation solutions and customer impact across India Tech.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive adoption of modern technologies by building awareness and sharing engineering value.
•Operate in an inclusive engineering environment, balancing domain expertise with championing others’ ideas.
•Promote engineering excellence by reusing and innersourcing solutions when possible.
•Communicate with and influence enterprise stakeholders across all levels.
•Act as a trusted advisor for a technology/platform/capability domain and help shape use cases and implementations.
•Mentor internal talent and recruit external talent to strengthen the organization’s tech capability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
•At least 13 years of experience in software development.
•At least 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns.
•At least 3 years of experience with cloud technologies.
•Experience building cloud-native architecture and architecting enterprise applications on public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
