Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide integrated long-term mine planning (tactical and strategic) from annual plans through LOM to support safe, economically viable operations.
  • •Translate long-term and annual mine plans into operational plans for infrastructure, heavy mobile equipment (HME), tailings, geotechnical aspects, and water management.
  • •Improve productivity via R&D, data analysis, deployment and support of proven new technologies, and change management.
  • •Develop and maintain integrated long-term mine plans aligned to corporate objectives for production, costs, risk management, and sustainability.
  • •Own annual budget development with stakeholders and perform quarterly and annual reconciliations to address forecast-versus-actual variances.

  • •Ability to work under general direction with enough autonomy to select engineering techniques for complex, multi-step mining problems.
